General Meeting THIS Wednesday!

Event: EWH General Meeting

Description: We will be talking about updates from our design group, repair, volunteer site, high school outreach, and more! This is a great way to learn more about EWH and start getting involved! We will be having a repair session following the meeting in the subbasement of Ford. Snacks will be provided!

Description: This is a great opportunity to get hands on and meet current undergraduate, graduate students, and faculty members of EWH! Sort Medical Supplies at Mission Outreach
Dates: 11/13, 11/20
Time: 9AM -12 PM (leave at 8:30 from campus)
Location: Mission Outreach Warehouse (transportation provided)
Description: This is in partnership with NCDC/ Oasis. We will be sorting donated medical supplies at the Mission Outreach warehouse so that they can be efficiently sent to hospitals with limited resources. Event: Fall Quarter Speaker: Kara Palamountain
Dates: Tuesday, November 16th
Location: LR4
Time: 7-9 PM
Description: EWH, SWE, GlobeMed, BMES, and ESW are hosting Kara Palamountain, a Research Assisstant Professor at the Kellogg School of Management, who is also the Executive Director of Kellogg's Global Health Initiative. In 2006, NU received a $4.9 million grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to research and develop affordable diagnostic devices for infectious diseases plaguing UN-defined "least developed countries". She will discuss her work relating to this grant. We are very excited about the opportunity.
