Event: High School Outreach
Date: Thursday October 21st.
Location: We will be travelling to Niles North high school (transportation provided)
Time: Leaving campus around 3-3:30 PM.
Description: We will be travelling to Niles North High School to give a presentation on engineering and global health. We will also work with the high school students to build the ESU testers that we have also been building on campus. This is a great opportunity to give back to the surrounding community and teach high school students about global health and engineering. Event: Repair Session
Date: Saturday October 30th, 2010
Location: Ford SB335
Time: 1-3 PM
Description: This is a great opportunity to get hands on and meet current undergraduate, graduate students, and faculty members of EWH! Event: Sort Medical Supplies at Mission Outreach
Dates: 10/23, 11/13, 11/20
Time: 9AM -12 PM (leave at 8:30 from campus)
Location: Mission Outreach Warehouse (transportation provided)
Description: This is in partnership with NCDC/ Oasis. We will be sorting donated medical supplies at the Mission Outreach warehouse so that they can be efficiently sent to hospitals with limited resources. Event: Fall Quarter Speaker: Kara Palamountain
Dates: Tuesday, November 16th

Description: EWH is hosting Kara Palamountain, a Research Assisstant Professor at the Kellogg School of Management, who is also the Executive Director of Kellogg's Global Health Initiative. We are very excited about the opportunity to hear her speak about her work on HIV diagnostics for the developing world.
