First General Meeting of the Quarter!

We look forward to seeing old and new faces at the upcoming general meeting! We will have sign ups for upcoming events and will also have pieces of equipment that we worked on last year to start looking at.

Snacks will be provided, bring a friend!

Event: Fall Quarter General Meeting
Date: Tuesday, September 28th, 2010

Event: High School Outreach Session
Date: Thursday, September 30th
Time: Leaving campus at 3-3:30 PM (including transportation)
Location: Transportation provided to high school.
Description: We will be building ESU testers with high school students which require basic soldering. Contact Jay at jaypatel2012@u.northwestern.edu ASAP if you would like to participate in this session! We have extremely limited spots and will be taking people on a first come first serve basis. If you do not have soldering experience, please let Jay know and we will figure out a time to quickly go over this before the session.


Event: Build/Repair Session
Date: Saturday, October 2nd
Time: 1 PM
Location: Ford SB335
Description: Come out and build ESU testers using basic soldering. These testers will actually be used in hospitals with limited resources to ensure their equipment is working. We will also be looking at some of the medical equipment (including patient monitoring systems) afterwards to start evaluating what needs to be done! Absolutely NO experience is necessary.

Sort Medical Supplies at Mission Outreach
Date: Saturday, October 9th
Time: 9AM -12 PM
Location: Mission Outreach Warehouse (transportation provided)
Description: This is in partnership with NCDC/ Oasis. We will be sorting donated medical supplies at the Mission Outreach warehouse so that they can be efficiently sent to hospitals with limited resources.
